It is time to begin thinking about our annual Golf Trip. Please note that, we didn't call it our Myrtle Beach Trip because this year ,we are going to SANTEE, SOUTH CAROLINA.

The dates are 3/21 -3/25

There are many reasons for the change but the main ones are:

1] We had great difficulty getting information from The Breakers. Many, many phone calls were made for pricing, room types etc. and we couldn't get any pricing or assurances that there wouldn't be a significant increase.

2] because of this ,We did some scouting around and several sources said that we should look into Santee. We did .It is located right off I 95 for those driving. For those flying Charleston or Columbia seem best.

3]$$$$$$  Although not the most important factor, it is significant. When we finally got pricing from Myrtle, the cost for 3 rounds, 4 nights, 4 breakfasts was about $609.
                            Cost for Santee is $ 308.
                            For those who want Wed.(additional $48 $-50)

We believe that the courses are good ones:
          Wed 3/21-  Foxboro GC                   1pm ( optional)
          Thu. 3/22-  Santee National GC         9am
          Fri.   3/23-  Lake Marion GC              9:15 am
          Sat.- 3/24-  Santee Copper CC          8:45 am

We will be saying at The Quality Inn Suites. -2 to a room

We believe that one of the reasons that the trips have been successful is because of the camaraderie that we enjoy and getting away from the cold and playing  some golf. So we decided to try this. If it doesn't pan out then -back to Myrtle (and the Cheerleaders ) next year.

THE DATES ARE  MARCH 21-25,2007. ARRIVE WED., PLAY WED (OPTIONAL), PLAY THURS, FRI., SAT., DEPART SUN. (Anyone who wants to play Sun let us know.)

No deposit is required this year  but you each will have to contact the hotel before arrival and provide a credit card for them . More info. on that at a later date.

Right now we need a head count on who is interested and with whom  they wish to room Please let us know by mid November, PLEASE.
